1st Week of Biology
This past week we were learning about the different types of organic molecules. There are four different organic molecules. Those included: carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids. Then, we had to work with our table partners to make a graphic organizer on one of those molecules. My table partner and I had proteins. I learned that there are different types of proteins which are enzymes, hormones, collagen, and hemoglobin. Enzymes speed up chemical reactions. Hormones a substances produced by cells or glands in one part of the body that affects the functions of cells or organs. Collagen is used to form bones, tendons, ligaments and cartilage. Hemoglobin is found in red blood cells of most vertebrates. It transports oxygen to the cells of these organisms.

Even though I didn't get to see you present your model, I heard you rehearse it and I saw your model. Your presentation sounded like it would have been good.
ReplyDeleteCute little cell, i really liked you had the key beside it. You did great speaking too!
ReplyDeleteGreat cell model and presentation. Try not to read off your paper too much.
ReplyDeleteYour Presentation sounded very rehearsed and you were very well prepared with good information. The only negative thing I see is that it doesn't seem as if you put much time into building your cell it's not very colorful, and I love color so that's my only complaint. But great job!
ReplyDeleteI liked your presentation. You had good information and presented very well. One thing that I would change about your overall project being able to distinguish a difference between each of the parts in the cell. Good job Luke
ReplyDeleteYour cell looked really good and you had a great presentation. One thing I would have done differently would be that I would have made the cell more interesting and easier to distingushed the different parts.
ReplyDeleteYour cell was very presentable. It looked really good. You had great information to describe the organelles! One thing I would change about your presentation would be to speak clearer and also to point out the organelles whenever you give the corresponding definitions. Overall great job Luke!!
ReplyDeleteYour cell model was very good and the information you had was to the point and didn't drag out the deffinitions. The only thing i would change would be to make the organelles eaisier to see and maybe make each of them a different color.
ReplyDeleteYour model was very good and the facts you gave about the organelles were good. The only thing that perhaps could have been better would have been to use your notes less during while presenting.
ReplyDeleteYou had a good model and i really liked the key because it explained it. Your presentation could have been a little better but other than that good job.
ReplyDeleteYour model was a little small. But it was good your information was accurate so good job!
ReplyDeleteYour model was very good but it could have been bigger. You had really good information too.
ReplyDeleteEverything was easy to see and the information was good, but more eye contact would have made the presentation better.
ReplyDeleteYour modal was good and i liked how you had a key but you could of made more eye contact with the class.
ReplyDeleteYour presentation was good, you spoke clearly and you knew everything that was in the cell, I would just suggest that you make more eye contact with the class
ReplyDeleteI thought your presentation was pretty great. Your model was understandable and your key was good. Your definitions were amazing and although you didn't really display your model more it was a really good cell presentation.
ReplyDeleteI liked your model it was really well organized and I liked that you pointed at everything while you read. The only thing you could have done different was to not read from your note cards. Really good job!
ReplyDeleteI thought your model was good and you spoke clearly. The only thing that I would have changed was to distinguish a difference between each part of the cell.
ReplyDeleteYour presentation was great, the only thing I could criticize you on would be making your model be more visible, maybe holding it up, because we couldn't really see the back of the model that much.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on your cell! very organized and colorful! My only suggestion is to talk louder!
